Located in downtown Edmonton, doors on the Calendar of Wishes will open to reveal a wish that has been granted. Whimsical and inspiring, the advent calendar has been developed to increase awareness of the stories that fuel the passion of Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta and demonstrate that each wish is as unique and special as the child who wished for it.

Located in Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta’s own “Winter Wish Square” (Abbey Glen Park: 10107 – 10147 Jasper Avenue), the Calendar of Wishes will launch December 1st and actively run until December 24th. Once the closing ceremony has concluded, Edmontonians will have the chance to stop and enjoy the calendar until January 3rd.

Doors will open each day at noon.

Our mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Along with the national office, eight regional chapters grant magical wishes to children in need from coast-to-coast. Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
